Ben's Glass Studio

Here are a few of my currently available works plus samples of several techniques and my newest effort - castings from nature.

Much of my work is created at the request of specific individuals, so if you see something that attracts you or inspires some new work, please let me know. My more interesting designs and challenging efforts often come from individual commissions. Occasionally some interesting design results in a limited production (usually less than three or four) of several variations on the same theme. However, most often works are produced individually and frequently on commission.

At any given time there is a limited inventory of completed works available. Please e-mail me for specific details.

Please review the photo gallery and let me know if you are interested in any particular design or have suggestions for other works. Small bowls are up to 8 inches in diameter, medium ones are up to about 12 inches and the large items may be as much as about 20 inches wide.

All bowls and trays are food and dishwasher safe, although one should best treat them like fine china and hand wash, and its always best to avoid the microwave.

Artful Dimensions Gallery is open Tuesday through Sunday, noon to 6 PM (closed Monday). I am showing at Fredericksburg's newest, and only exclusively three-dimensional works, Gallery. In addition, I have essentially all my completed works inside a open-studio within the gallery. Please feel free to visit anytime the gallery is open, or seperate arraingements for a private tour may be arrainged.

"Arts are in Richmond" show Feburary 10, 11 and 12 was a success as I learned a great deal from the other artists and even sold a few pieces. I hope to participate in next year's show.
